Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds' new single, "Get Ready For Love," is set for release Feb. 21, 2005 on Mute. This is the third single to be taken from the new double album release, Abattoir Blues/The Lyre Of Orpheus. "Get Ready For Love" will be available on 7-inch vinyl and CD. The B-sides will be unreleased live tracks from Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds' recent run of sold-out shows at Brixton Academy (tracks to be confirmed) and the A-side will be a brand new edit. Nick Cave plays two solo shows in February 2005 following the recent Bad Seeds dates across the UK and Europe. On these dates, a "solo band" featuring fellow Bad Seeds Martyn P. Casey on bass, Jim Sclavunos on drums and Warren Ellis on violin will join Nick Cave.
