Preorders for Sin_Lab, the debut CD by Dekad on the French label BOREDOMproduct, are available at a very special price (10 Euros for Europe and 15 Euros outside Europe) until the end of April on BOREDOMproduct's Web site. After a first appearance on the Frenchviolation sampler and a participation on the compilation Synthetique with the original track "Tell Me," Dekad present their debut album Sin_Lab. Dekad deliver a 14-track album halfway between New Wave, dandy electro-pop and EBM. Fourteen tracks of heavy programming and processing, strong beats and catchy melodies. Dekad consists of three complementary persons with different tastes but with the same musical sensitivity. The influences are numerous: a mix of synthpop (Depeche Mode, Mesh, De/Vision), EBM (Front 242, Nitzer Ebb), industrial (Haujobb, In Strict Confidence) and goth (Xymox). Each member plays a part in the creative process. Seb is the lead singer. He brings his emotions and gives birth to the lyrics. His part is also important during the creative musical process. Yoyo plays the guitar. Although Dekad make electronic music, a guitar is needed in a lot of their songs, as it brings a human side that all enjoy. His presence is required when the time has come to make a first mix. Jb writes the lyrics, gives birth to the songs and manages the programming. He's also the lead voice on some of the songs. Watch out for some danceable beats and catchy melodies, fine electronics with a touch of guitar.
