Cryonica Music news & releases update
Cryonica Music is happy to announce the signing of Blue October. The UK-based synthpop band will release their new album One Day Silver, One Day Gold June 6. The album is a blend of finely tuned electro-pop with the added smooth vocals of Ross Carter. It is currently available for preorder on the Cryonica Music Web site. The band will be performing a concert and holding a record release party in London in July. In other news, Reza from Inertia has just joined the legendary band Killing Joke on keyboards. He will be touring with them through this year, starting off with a UK arena tour together with Motley Crue. Reza is also preparing for a role of "Rusty Charlie" in the musical Guys and Dolls. This will take place in September at the Bob Hope Theatre in Eltham, UK. Alexys from Inertia has been filming quite a bit recently. Look out for her in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (November 2005) playing a Bulgarian minister and Basic Instinct 2 playing a prostitute. You can also catch her in the new Ricky Gervais comedy "Extras," in an episode together with Ricky and Ben Stiller. Alexys will also be in Guys and Dolls playing the part of a hotbox girl. Inertia's Andrew is hard at work completing the new Knifeladder album. The album is sounding absolutely storming at the moment and should be ready in the next couple of months. Between all this Inertia, are currently writing a new EP which will be released by autumn. They will also be playing at the Black Celebration festival November 6 at The Astoria in London. There will be more dates added soon. Finally, Swarf are currently working on brand new songs for a new release this year. You are likely to have a taster of their new material within the next months in the form of an EP.
