Ant-Zen presents Iszoloscope's first rhythm-oriented full-length album. The production work on Au Seuil Du Néant took two years, and you will understand why when you hear the final result. It is powerful and straight, but it is also a very complex block of rhythms which are combined with dark, droning atmospheric soundscapes. Unlike other dark rhythmic projects, Iszoloscope's rhythms don't overwhelm the drones with their loudness - the combination in intensity and volume is just mind blowing.

2. Masami Akita, a.k.a. Merzbow returns from the fringe of mass distribution with a real gem for Ant-Zen. Merzbow embarks on a project designed to keep busy people organized. Time Hunter , a set of four 3-inch CDs filled with new concepts in digital noise textures, comes bound in a handsome black "day planner" binder, complete with a calendar and various bits of information useful to those on the go. Akita notes that Time Hunter originally began as an exercise working in the dynamics of 2002's Merzbeat, perhaps the most accessible and rhythmically structured album in the massive Merzbow catalog. "Time Hunter features deconstructed beats which I took from '70s hard rock-stuff like Omega, Golden Earring, Spontaneous Combustion, Alamo," he explains. "Also I tried mixing these destructed
breakbeats with heavy guitar drone".

3. Finally, Escape 3 organisation is looking for 100 people: musicians or non-musicians, fans or non-fans, weirdos or wackos, noise-makers, MCs, scratchers or pranksters who want to record just five seconds of whatever on a CD-R (this can be just sheer noise, prank phonecall intermezzos, instrumental stuff, homemade beats, scratching, MC, etc.). Hypnoskull will compile the first 100 contributions into one track for the next Hypnoskull album. All contributors will be mentioned in the credits of the CD, so include your project name, personal name, artist
name, and your E-mail, so they can inform you on the release. If there will be more than 100 copies, the leftovers will be used for an exclusive downloadable track on the website of Hypnoskull.
