Marc Almond will release a new album titled Stardom Road. The tracklist will include a number of covers, plus a new track titled "Redeem Me (Beauty Will Redeem The World)". The first single release from the album will be a cover of the Dusty Springfield song "I Close My Eyes and Count To Ten", which features Sarah Cracknell of St. Etienne on vocals. The single will be released on iTunes May 28. Other guest artists that feature on the album are Jools Holland and Antony Hegarty of Antony and the Johnsons. Stardom Road will be released June 4, 2007, on Sanctuary Records. An announcement about UK live dates in June will be made very shortly.
