Genitorturers finalize new album
Tracks have been completed for the newest Genitorturers album, which has now been sent to post-recording production for release later this year. According to the band's Web site the newest release from one of the industrial genre's defining acts will include production work from Nine Inch Nails and Skinny Puppy alum Dave Ogilvie. Ogilvie has a long history of involvement with Genitorturers, including mixing the band's 1993's debut release 120 Days of Genitorture and production credits for Machine Love. Other contributors to the post-recording process include additional drum tracking from Tampa's Red Room Studios, mixing by Rave at RMP Studios in Orlando and further refinement by Scott Humphrey and Seth Von Paulis. According to Gen, the band is also working on tour dates in support of the new album. Samples of the new work have been posted to the band's MySpace page, and the band will release a live DVD, Live n Sin, this summer.
