New York based electronic punk band Mindless Self Indulgence and Canadian synth rock group The Birthday Massacre have reached the Billboard charts on the week of September 14. The bands, both on Metropolis Records, have been steadily growing in popularity over the past year. The Birthday Massacre's new album Walking With Strangers debuted at the fourth position on the New Alternative Artist Chart, and at position 33 on the Current Independent Record Label. Mindless Self Indulgence debuted at the fifth position on the DVD Music Chart with their first live DVD, Our Pain Your Gain.
