Rammstein avoids censorship in Germany
Industrial metal act Rammstein is safe from censorship in their native Germany; after negotiations, an attempt to place all of the band's albums on the country's Censorship Index under the category of "Youth-Endangering Media" was denied earlier this month. A review board from the Federal Inspection Unit announced October 10 that the petition, filed earlier this summer by a District Youth Guardian, would be rejected. In other Rammstein news, German punk act Feeling B, featuring the first musical efforts of Rammstein's Flake Lorenz and Paul Landers, will release a retrospective album, Grun und Blau, November 9. This collection will feature several previously unreleased songs as well as a 120-page hardcover book about the band's history.
