Electronic composer Karlheinz Stockhausen dies
German electronic music pioneer Karlheinz Stockhausen has died at the age of 79. Stockhausen is best known for his experimental electronic music compositions, in which he incorporated everyday sounds and mathematics, as well as for creating the first piece of music to use only pure sine wave sounds. He worked with musicians from various genres, and was even inducted as an honorary member of Coil. Please follow the links for more information.
