Cyanotic announces album title, compilation, collaboration with Caustic/Chemlab

Cyanotic has announced that the title of its upcoming album, slated for release this summer, will be The Medication Generation. The band states that much of the material will explore the topic of North American ways of life, specifically "eating pills and reading celebrity magazines." The album will be co-produced by Jason Prost of BitRiot label mates mindFluxFuneral. The band is also preparing to release a follow-up to its 2006 compilation Hordes of the Elite. Hordes Deux: Electric Boogaloo will be released on the band's own Glitch Mode imprint, although no release date has yet been announced. Sean Payne is also currently working with Matt Fanale from Caustic and Jared Louche from Chemlab on a new project, tentatively titled Prude. More details on this project are forthcoming.
