Laibach has announced the release of a new 14-track album, Laibachkunstderfuge, available now as a digital download from the Mute label Web site, and available soon as a CD released by Dallas Records from the Laibach WTC Shop, which is currently under construction. The album is Laibach's interpretation of classical composer Johann Sebastian Bach's Die Kunst der Fuge or The Art of Fugue work. Laibach recorded the album using computer programs rather than live instruments, in order to emphasize the versatility of Bach's compositions.

Laibach will also release a DVD this summer, Volk Dead in Trbovlje, available July 28 from the Mute label. The DVD was filmed at a concert in Trbovlje, Slovenia, during Laibach's Volk tour.

In addition, Laibach will tour the United States this September, playing shows in Seattle, WA, Portland, OR, San Francisco, CA, Hollywood, CA and New York City, NY, as well as a special show September 28 in Tijuana, Mexico. July 25 Laibach will also perform at Europeade 2008, a folk music festival taking place in Martigny, Switzerland. Please follow the links for more information.
