Peter Heppner, lead singer for now-disbanded German synthpop act Wolfsheim, released his first solo album September 12 on major label Warner Music Germany. Simply entitled Solo, the album features three tracks co-written with producer José Alvarez-Brill, best known for his work with such artists as De/Vision and Joachim Witt, as well as production by Peter-John Vettese, who has worked with such seminal artists as Pet Shop Boys, Annie Lennox, Frankie Goes to Hollywood and Dido.
