Legendary Pink Dots’ album Alchemical Playschool will be re-released on CD October 27 on the Caciocavallo label. The recording was first conceived in 2004 when Soleilmoon Recordings owner Charles Powne invited Legendary Pink Dots vocalist Edward Ka-Spel to use the field recordings in the Soleilmoon double CD Indian Soundscapes for a new Dots recording.

Alchemical Playschool was previously released in 2006 and again in 2007 in limited editions; first as a CD in a hand-carved soapstone box and then as a double 10-inch record in a recycled sugarcane gatefold sleeve. The 2008 CD edition features a silk-finished gatefold package with an eight-page booklet. Please follow the links for more information.
