Black Tape for a Blue Girl work with Dresden Dolls drummer

Seminal ethereal project Black Tape for a Blue Girl are currently in the studio working on the follow-up to their 2004 album Halo Star. The new album, entitled 10 Neurotics and due for a spring 2009 release, will feature drums by Brian Viglione of The Dresden Dolls, marking the first time in the band's 19-year career that they will employ a live drum kit. Black Tape for a Blue Girl founder (and Projekt label owner) Sam Rosenthal is writing a blog of the album's recording progress; for the latest updates as well as previews of songs in progress, visit the band's MySpace page.
