Alec Empire and Nic Endo, who previously worked together in Atari Teenage Riot, have teamed up to produce a seven-track mini-album, Shivers, which will be released May 8. The release includes a new version of "1,000 Eyes" from Empire's 2008 album, The Golden Foretaste of Heaven, which was remixed for a 20-minute film sharing the album's name by Austrian director Richard Wilhelmer, and for which Empire and Endo produced all the music. Fans who purchase Shivers via iTunes will receive a bonus full-concert download, although specific details have not been announced.
