Live album for Alec Empire

Alec Empire will release Live Sessions/London 2002 June 2. Alec Empire is famous for his digital hardcore version of loud industrial rock, but he has also been a DJ for a decade, as well as a remix producer for artists such as Björk, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, Primal Scream and many others, where he keeps exploring new worlds in electronic music. Critics have described CD2 as "The soundtrack for a David Lynch movie that hasn't been made yet." Alec rarely takes this to the stage: solo, body painted in silver and working the machines, a huge contrast to his rock show musically and visually. These rare concerts happen mostly in old theatres or seated halls which were built for modern classical music. This is a limited edition release before his next album. Alec Empire is currently in the studio with Nic Endo working on the follow=up to Intelligence & Sacrifice. "We're planning to release this in the autumn but there will be plenty of other action in the meantime." Alec: "The new stuff is a step up from Intelligence & Sacrifice. My main focus is on guitar mayhem! It feels good to have a little time off from touring to finally nail all those ideas that have been building up in our minds over the last few months. There will be loads of new shit!"
