Psy-trance record label Alkaloid Productions has released their debut album, entitled True Reality, featuring ten freshly cut dance floor stormers selected from the darkest corners of the globe. Included are Hungarian newcomers ParaHalu ("Soldiers of LSD"), Audialize & Suria, Dark Nebula and Scatterbrain, who recently released his own debut album on Digital Psionics. Also included are Brazilian heavy-hitters Sequipa and Baphomet Engine, who both deliver performances that can only be categorized as hard core. Next up is Australian DJ Cyanescens, Russian sensation Shankar and Japanese headliner Hydro Generator, who turns in an unusually dark and chaotic track. True Reality finishes in Serbia with the sounds of Anax, a newcomer who closes things out with a bang. There is no doubt that Alkaloid Productions' first go-round is a smasher.
