Senser are back

Senser were formed in the late 1980s by a group of friends and musicians from southwest London: Nick Michaelson (guitar), Heitham Al-Sayed (vocals), Kerstin Haigh (vocals), John Morgan (drums), James Barrett (bass) and Haggis (engineer, producer, programmer), and in 1992 they were joined by Spiral Tribe DJ Andy Clinton. Back with their original line-up (that of their highly acclaimed debut album Stacked up), Senser are here again. The band, whose eclectic mix of musical genres, socio-political content and incendiary live performances influenced countless other bands, are back with a third album, SCHEMAtic. The new work is a broad musical development and a strong return to form. In today's world climate, Senser's outlook is more relevant than ever. The album will be released on One Little Indian on May 24. In the meantime you can download an MP3 of Senser's second single release "The Brunt" from their new album free of charge from their Web site. The song is also available as a limited edition 7" single with a unique "Created On" date/time stamp, etched artwork B-side, and Senser spraypaint stencil. They are also going on the road, so check out their Web site for tour dates.
